Been a long time armor modeler. On the edge of burn out and switched to spend some time with cars. I recognize a few names, at least I think I do, which is good enough for me.

Tankerdog, are there any good scale model shops in the portland area? I have only been able to find 1 shop up here in my neck of the woods that is not solely focused on RC. I am thinking of making a trip down to Portland for some xmas shopping and wonder if you have any suggestions?

Yes there are. Bridgetown hobbies, I believe on NE Sandy Blvd, Tammies Toy & Hobby is in Beaverton. I haven't been to Tammies in decades, but still hear it's a keeper for modelers. Bridgetown I never fail to go to when in Portland, it caters to modelers and wargamers.

There's a Hobby Town in Clackamas that's pretty good, it's really helps the car modelers with the AM and paint. I was there a few weeks ago to pick up some Spaz Stix paints.
