Hasegawa Vanship

Got this little gem at the bench now

The idea is to paint it with bronze, copper, brass in transitions and filter it with deluted yellow and orange. Brighter in the front.

Will use Vallejo air as base and Tamiya as filter. Aiming for low milage look.

Will probably turn out something else

Yes, its real nice and I will do my best. A low milage look is kind of a challenge. Easy to get a boring toy look.

First round with the pilots, too dark. Isoprop and better clean up and then try again.

Looking good, BeebleBrox. Instead of stripping the paint, couldn’t you just dry brush a lighter color over the dark to bring up the brightness. I’d totally do that before stripping and starting again. But, I’m also lazy. LOL!

Black and sky gray stand. Still dry fitted parts. Just a chrome ornament in the front and some wind shields left to do.
