As I've been re-working my Halcyon "Aliens" models I originally built over 20 years ago , my attention has turned to the 1/35 scale APC . Although I considered adding L.E.D's and even converting the model to R.C , in the end I've gone for a straight forward re-paint . When I originally built the model , I finished it in a Humbrol "Olive Drab" , but to me , it now looked a little too bright and so I re-did it in Humbrol "Grass Green" from a spray can . I've replaced all the grab rails, indicator guards and stowage points with thin wire and used pastel chalks for the shading/weathering .

I still need to add the lights , fabricate some replacement towing points ( the originals were lost in storage) and get hold of replacement decals . I've also heard of someone producing accurate wheels in resin , so I may even treat myself to a set .

Replaced the missing "towing points" with styrene and brass wire and put together a "cheap and cheerful" display base .

Not much more to do , just add some replacement decals and finish up the weathering . I'm also looking into replacement resin wheels . If anyone has done this and has any advice , feel free to let me know .
