I have never seen that before......

I can only think of a couple of things:

One make sure you have the wiring correct and that there are no shorts.  

Second, make sure you have the capacitor polarity correct.  

Third I would double check the wiring:

I am not sure of how you wired it up with the video, I can't see the whole circuit clearly.
