Just joined up after searching google for 1:2256th scale builds- found several impressive builds I'd never seen before- so here I am!
I know some of the regulars here- and they know me- but by way of introductions, I'm a fan of smaller scale builds- in particular, Star Wars builds in 1:2256 scale.

Here's some of my stuff in 2256th-

Any tips or tricks to improve my skills or to give my tiny builds more of asense of scale are always welcomed!

:) interesting search requirement .

1/2256 ! Wonder who developed that scale ?
I assume these are tiny ?
How big are these compared to say a quarter ?

I very much like the paint-work .. Especially the very last ship .

Cheers ,
Uru

Uru, I snapped a quick shot tonight with a penny so you can judge the tiny scale of these- sorry I can't seem to get the pic to show! Link:

Ha! You should see the A-Wings!
Anyway, I'm making about 20 fighters to escort the amazing Flurry carrier from. Jpeg models
If you love Star Wars, but prefer smaller scale (as I do) to build a fleet, check these models out!

Got a link to Jpeg ?
These are styrene , resin ? metal ?
fingernail trimmings ?

Just my phome pic at the moment- linking that was pulling teeth for some reason

The models are all resin- the scale started with Revell's Old Republic Star Destroyer model- then the GK community got on board and now we have several great companies/sellers contributing new models to the line
The fighters are from Roncho on Shapeways and are incredibly inexpensive- about $6 for a dozen X-Wings!

The ship with fins is the Tartan by Nick Sagan (he's a member here, naturally)- as is the bottom ship (blue and white) the Lancer class anti-starfighter frigate.
The orange Correllian Gunship is by Utar Ships- his website has tons of stuff in this scale and ALL of these sellers are amazing casters: nary an air bubble anywhere!

If you hit Cosmosmodels.com you can see other builds in this scale (mine too! ).

check spelling for " cosmosmodels.com "

that's a people models ( fashion etc ) site :p

???

My mistake- here's a link-
https://cosmosmodels.wordpress.com/customer-gallery/
Check out the Customer Gallery- you can see some great builds of the Tartan and Lancer (lots of others too!)
You can order kits from him directly too! Really, I can't rave enough about yhe quality of these kits

Yup http://Cosmosmodels.wordpress.com :)

Also, the Starship Modeler Store now carries a number of my products, including the last batch of Tartans and Lancers for now. Not sure when he'll get the new listogs up but here's what he has of mine for now: https://starshipmodeler.biz/shop/index.cfm?fuseaction=page.searchResults

Also, 1/2256 came about as a standard Star Wars scale thanks to Revell's oddball system giving us the 1/2256 Venator Cruiser. It also just seems to fit a lot of ship classes really well.
