Hey guys, seeing as there's loads of time left in the comp :p I thought I'd try and squeeze a second entry in. My Grandpa drove one of these in WW2 and I thought I'd give it a bash:

Being a resin kit, all parts had to be scrubbed clean.

Chassis with suspension fitted:

Moving onto the engine, the rear had to be carefully drilled for the shaft:

The instructions are hand drawn so its worth while marking off were you've been with a highlighter:

Chassis complete with dry fitted wheels:

Yeah 'starting' a new kit lol 'finishing' is another thing lol

Looks great so far John,

I don't know if the engine would have been painted the same color as the body seeing its military production, but civilian ford engines of the 30's and 40's where a dark green.

Thanks man that's really handy, I've tried a little grey/green mix for the engine.
