At 1/2 price on ebay UK: Having built one with timber decal sides etc. I shall do this as a poor renovate with runny gloss grey brush paint!

This is my first attempt using two alloy tubes to get moving slide up and down tipper action instead of the kit, fixed either up or down!

Ah, trusty Bedford.
I didn't think we ever saw them over here, but a quick response from Mr Googly says there were a limited number between 1957 and '63! No wonder I didn't recall, being born in '58!

I've a WW2 OYD and an MWD in the stash.

OK BarleyBop, are those you quoted Bedford trucks?
OK I've just looked!

OK to fit rear unit but now trying to fit the cab unit and tilt right up tight to cab and 'jammed' together! taking rear unit off and starting again!

Cool build, love the paint job on the cab! Did the headlight glass come with the pattern?

Yes Ron2 the lights all came with clear lenses.
OK thanks guys, other than having to re-site the tipper hinges!
