Egyptian Terrain

Very cool. I'm really amazed at some of the builings and terrian work that gaming guys whip up. I mean it looks great, but still has to be durable enough to be handled during game setup and play.

Thanks guys.
I use Dental plaster not ordinary Plaster of Paris to cast the blocks.
The Dental plaster is really hard when cured. After gluing all the blocks together I'll use Future Floor wax
and let it soak into the pieces and when dry you have a hard skin to work with.
The surface is really durable. It will still chip if it is hit hard but the Future adds a layer to stop scuffs and wear and tear from dragging your minis across the surfaces.

So are those hirst molds worth it then? I was looking at the website and its some cool stuff and I'd love to try my hand at making nice scenery. How's the price and ease of use of the dental plaster?

Thanks
