German WWII tanks had interior lighting.  My 1/16 Tiger II and Panzer IV had molded electrical lines and fixtures on the interior of the turret roof. You can get aftermarket light fixtures from AFV Modeler, to replace the kit versions... but I didn't go that far down the rabbit hole.
