Heyyyyyyyy

Wow......they make some brilliant stuff....(I do remember saying I'm surprised that Dragon weren't in the running to make kits for the Star Wars films,....saying they have the Marvel licence)

I don't see them being allowed to be imported into the US, as Revell has the license for North America and Europe. Bandai the license for Japan, so I would assume that Dragon's license would extend to the rest of Asia, and maybe Australia.

Just the way Disney dictates how and where its license can be used.

Mind you the kits are all readily available on Amazon and Ebay

Funny, I actually took one of the old MPC AT-ATs and zimmeritted it, added a 1/72 M-60 tank turret to the roof of the AT-AT body, and mounted the search light under the AT-AT head. Plan was to cut add on armor (like side skirts on a German tank) and mount it to the legs to protect them (the weak point of an AT-AT as we all know), but the project got stalled and sits in a box.

Should finish it one of these days.

Yeah Scott for X wings etc but I'm not sure about the AT AT, again like always though there was several sizes of AT AT made.

I dunno, if they did, then I would assume they would also have to have different scales of Snowspeeders as well in order to be in scale with each other.

What's studio scale then J? As this can't be far off surely

.....Not sure,....the MR 1:1 measures out at 23” L x 9” W x 19” H

I don't know. I wouldn't mind some of the 1/144 stuff to go with some of my other builds

I agree with that Q. That being said though, I'd like to see some injection moulded kits of other ships or vehicles, like the Blockade Runner, Twin Pod Cloud Car, or maybe something else. Even if you stick just to the canon of the movies and TV series there are many possible subjects that haven't been kitted yet.

As a side note, (and I'm not totally convinced it's true), I just saw a Facebook post that Zvezda Models is also releasing Star Wars kits in 2016.

The first images of the new AT-ST looked a bit weird, with its long gangly legs:
