Dodge L-700 Command Vehicle

Cleaned most of the chrome off the guard and salted it and the catcher, before applying several coats of colors. The weathered the Cab and mounted the whole Catcher assembly. Shot another coat of dust color on the tires.

Nothing like recycling and using what is at hand. An original front end for sure.

Thanks guys. Used the Nutter tool and made some bolt heads for the armor plates, then mounted. Still have to make a few more, then detail.

Well hey..... it's a one of a kind Apocalypse! ;D Yes the Nutter is great and think it will be used allot in my builds. Bought a better set of tweezers to work with also. My cheapies were magnetized and wouldn't let go of pins. :p

Masked off the front windshield, where the wipers will go and shot them with Matte clear. Installed the clearance and turns. Masked the doors and shot Liquitex acrylic yellow ink and will go back and put a Bio Hazard emblem in the center. Next to install the mirrors and the Tractor should be about 90% finished.

Haven't even started the mean part yet. ;) A Dillon gun on top and a M2 out the back!

Time to start work on the Camper. Locate mount points for the roof Dillon Gun and rear M2. Cut a 1 1/4 " hole in the roof with a hole saw and will use a section of house hold sink trap tail piece as a shield extension.

Thanks for looking.

Thanks Scott! Wish DWC had made the gun mounts, so that they would track and turn in the turrent. There's no mounting brackets or rollers per say. Maybe next time, right? ???
