Dodge L-700 Command Vehicle

Thanks guys. Managed to raise the chassis with blocks and U channel steel, then bolted them down with half round and copper wire. Just had to see if the Camper shell would fit, so started on it as well. Using an extra M21 Half Track M2 Top Mount for the M2.

Shot the chassis with a couple of coats of Metalic Primer.

Thanks guys. Painted most of the chassis parts black primer, the tires are AK Tire Grey and the engine is Chrysler orange and flat aluminum. Also painted the chassis metalic silver and high lighted the rivets and shadows with flat black.

They sure will help ;) Had to apply a wash to the engine, because it was way too clean:)

Had to remove some of the engine cross members, to facilitate the 361 with blower.

Now can start removing some of the Cab fire wall to allow for additional air and blower belt pulleys.

It sure is, but with the .50 Cal going off, exhaust headers, people screaming, Mulatov Coctails flying, doubt we'll even notice ;D

Worked on the DWC .50 Cal yesterday. Sprayed the MG gun metal and the base and ammo cans Tamiya Olive Drab. Then did the ammo with brass, copper and flat black.

Also received more great accessories from DWC and some Iron paint from Modern Master. Of course, had to try it out.

Thanks. Mixed about a tea spoon of the paint with equal part of white vinegar. Then you just muck it on and let stand. Had to go back over a couple areas which I missed.

Shot the whole thing with Satin Clear coat, to give it a damp look.

While waiting for that to dry, took Jared by his Burkie and threw him into the spray booth for a little bath. Base coat is Dupli-Color Acrylic Black, they equal parts of Tamiya Buff, Flat Flesh and primer.

Now can start some work on the Camper.

Cleaned up the rest of the DWC resin parts.

While taking apart on old printer for recycle, came across several great parts for Dios and such. There's wiring, springs and lots of cool parts like this.

Had an idea. Why not make a Zombie Guard?

After rusting up a couple of resin barrels, decided to add a color band of green. Used the Hair Spray method with acrylic paint and scatched it up with a tooth pick. Add a little more rust and another coat of hair spray.
