Cyber Hobby 1/35 StuG E

thanks both.....

and now with bad whitewash... gone for the more "towards the end of the winter when the white wash was rubbing off" look - more by accident than design.....

decided tools, spare wheels etc would;ve been on when the white was applied... 1 spare wheel (the vertical front one) will have been used to replace the one damaged on the RHS in the same incident that resulted in the fender damage - this will then give me 1 white wheel "for interest"...

what a grimy pillbug...

Hope that's a compliment.... lol... next up more rusting then I am going to try my hand at heavy mud... trying to get a sense of a vehicle in a thaw.. so winter camp battered, lots of mud....

Making good progress on this one with the w/w appearance over the grey, now the real fun begins with the weathering process. ;)

not usre if i am going about this in the right way, thought I would get some "mud" pigment on the lower half then get the wheels & tracks on (just placed for now as i need to rub the contact points of the wheels/tracks to remove the brown colour... graphite?)

but slowly it gets some weather....

tracks on (just - some areas that are better not looked at too closely)... need to finish off the hatches, binoculars and stowage and touch up some of the weathering I think.....

Stug's lookin cool mate. I also like the whitewash effect 8)

bit more work on my Stug. the vuild itself is ok but am not happy with the stowage (in particular the cloth/tarp... the colours are just a bit too solid... so need to work on that

A really solid build--man, I still can't believe that you did that thing to the wheels with the tubing! HARD CORE, man! lol

All in all it really is a nice build, and your weathering seems to have really been in earnest. Practice makes perfect; keep experimenting and I think you'll very quickly get where you want to be!
