... hey Jim, this thread didn't really go anywhere, but we keep poking around to see what topics might be of interest.

I can't speak for others,  but in my experience it tends to go in waves, some weeks lots, some less; I honestly don't think it is a lack of caring for most members.

Lack of time (talk or build?), lack of an opinion on a particular subject, lack of vocabulary to discuss some aspects of the art, lack of motivation when struggling to get through a current build. And the demands of all our personal lives...

And like all social gatherings, ya got the doers, ya got the talkers, ya got the jokers,  ya got the extroverts, and ya got the introverts. Some only build models, others are active in many endeavors, go go go. My guess is that no two of us have the same expectations of the forum.

Besides, if we were all extroverts, we wouldn't be spending so much time alone at the bench building plastic models!
