Thanks for the reply... I quite agree that it is important to know your audience, and was gobsmacked by the Whaler diorama: I wouldn't hesitate for a moment to get on my knees to view that beauty from every angle!


And good for you getting past your form of 'color blindness' (most people would be surprised at the number of people, especially men, who have some form of colour blindness, of which there are many), to be creative and explore so many medias and forms of expression.


Though I loved painting on canvas in school, I spent a lot of time in an industrial spray booth, learning to paint without the constraints of a 5/0 brush.

Later, I experimented a bit with airbrush illustration (in the early eighties), thinking it might 'expand' my commercial repertoire, but then a MacPlus landed on my desk, and I never looked back.

That led to early experimentation with museum kiosk and touch screen design, in-house end-to-end digital production techniques and eventually user interface and interaction design, today taught as UX.


I look forward to seeing more of your work, and the knowledge you will impart. So much more to learn from everyone in this forum!
