The MK.VIII is all Tamiya Acrylic, the MK.II is PollyScale except for the green which is Tamiya. I had a real bear of a time with the Tamiya because I wasn't used to thinning paint as much as it needed to be. I'm mainly an enamel user but I bought a bunch of PollyScale cheap. I like the PollyScale. The Tamiya was an experiment to see how it compared. Now that I know the secret I can use it but it's not on my preffered list at the moment.
