Well, as it goes with me I posted a call for help in the techniques section and then get a brainstorm. I'm going to leave that thread going though because I would really like a better solution.

Anyway, I taped the main airframe down to the table and was able to get the outer struts and upper wing on long enough to get some CA on the lower mounting points of the struts. I still need to add the cabanes but this is a huge leap forward for me. I forsee a late night of rigging.   ;D
