I threw this kit together in a short weekend just because I needed something to paint silver. I've been struggling to get an okay looking NMF so I needed a couple of test subjects. The others just looked wrong but this one, although not perfect, caught my eye. The build was quick with no extras whatsoever so please excuse any shotcomings you may notice in the construction, I just thought it looked kinda cool. Whadda you think?

The silver against the cherry(?) base looks really good.

Thanks, appreciate the feedback I do. Wayne, I used the decals that were in the box which were quite sparse and then I dug around in the spares pile and found those black & white markings that you see on the sides. Nothing unit specific or accurate I'm sure, just some that were handy.

rookie, I sprayed Tamiya Chrome Silver (X-11) on some areas and Flat Aluminum (XF-16) on others. Applied Bare Metal Foil to a few spots to try that stuff out, even covered both wing tanks with it. Applied a dark pinwash, sealed it all down with a coat of Future, called it done.

I love the finish on this on Bullet21. Nice to see a Canadian Sabre. :)
