Hello All, I am new here and have just got around to making my first post of some work I just finished. This is my Bronco 1/35 Coastal Submarine. This is a beautiful kit. Not a lot of parts. Boy, that was good for a change. This was also a testbed to some degree for some weathering skills I am trying to hone. Also, I was trying out a 2 part rust antiquing set I found. Please tell me if this is over done. I hope you like it.

Here she is after pre-shading.

Here she is after shading and painting.

And now after adding some weathering.

I have a couple of hours left to add some antennas and the deck hand rail and she is done. I hope you like her so far.

Looking good! This is a promising start.
However, IMHO with the extensive rust streaking on the sail you should definitely intensify the weathering on the hull.
Cheers,
Guido

Nice progress so far, this is yet another one of those "I want it, I want it" kits for me. (I will be glad when I can finally get set up again and get to building!) looking forward to seeing your progress of this beauty.
