Belly tanker

A classic LSR the belly tanker. In the early days the drop tank was popular for making a light and streamline car on a budget. They were powered by every kind of engine you could think of. This is again a Delta class lakester, using a small turbo shaft engine. Guys if you can help i need another drop tank to build a new car, this one is 7inches long and an inch and half across at the widest point. If anyone has one around this size or a little bigger you want to part with i would be happy to pay your asking and shipping.

Thank you Barly, i like when the builds make people happy, i hope they inspire others to go outside the cardboard box and try something wild. I hope someone has a drop tank they want to part with, these were always my favorite LSRs since i was a kid, i would really like to build another.

Unfortunately, I have none.
I do have an empty propane tank, but it might not be quite aerodynamic enough for your purposes! LOL

The problem is finding one big enough, it would need to be from a 1/25 scale plane, and most folks dont build to many of them. I will drop a pic and request in the aircraft forum tomorrow and see what happens.

Sweet! they are the same ones i built the belly tanker out of. I will take one for sure so maybe someone else can have one to, please send me a private message.
