OK. I am trying this again. I am building a modern Batcave to approximately 1/43 scale. I will add more as this progresses.

I'll be following this build with great interest , as I've been thinking of taking on a similar project for a while now . I hope to utilise "forced perspective" and have smaller scale ( 1/43 ) Batmobiles towards the back of the diorama , while larger scale ones ( 1/24 ) at the front . You're off to a good start ! ;)

Nice. That is a clever way to be able to use a larger variety of Batmobiles. I am going to end up doing some mods to some core vehicles I have. The main area of this project will end up being about 24" x 48" and then there will be a vehicle garage in another area to store many of my other vehicles. I can't wait to see what you come up with.

Once I decided to do the cave the T-Rex was actually one of the first things I found, in Michaels. It made me really decide that I had to do it right and make sure it was the right kind of display. I'm taking it slower now to make sure I find the right materials and do it the way it needs to be done. I rushed at first because I was excited. Still excited but want to make sure it is a nice looking piece.

Some updates. I redid the lower level and I totally scrapped the upper level and started it from scratch. The last pictures are of it in a mock up/dry fit stage so I can figure out how I am going to put everything. Thoughts, comments or suggestions are welcomed.
