This happened... Everyone else is doing two kits, and I couldn't keep myself from starting it....

Primer/ base color for chipping on. Sprayed some color after HS, but no pics yet...

Jaitea, I'll probably stick with Red 5, but I saw a vid that commented that the markings aren't totally correct, but I.m not sure I want to take the time to find what needs to be corrected or what it would take to make it a different version...

Paint looks good on the little guys, but I certainly feel your pain with doing them.

If anyone has some good Red 5 reference shots, link them or post them? Would be much appreciated.

I have to commend you on the paint job on that 1/72 scale figure. That really looks good. Bandai has really
put a great deal of detail into that small a figure.

Thanks, Tony! Yes indeed, the detail is nice and sharp, making painting it not a total headache. ;)

Looking excellent Scrach,....I still haven't painted my pilot!!

Its a cracker kit,...my first experience with a Bandai kit,....great fun
Heres a link to a thread on the Replica Prop Forum,....its been there for a good while and a lot of the links are dead,....but still....have a look:
