I bought this one too,....it is an exciting looking kit,.....haven't started it,....too many other things in the air at the minute

What do you think about lighting this one? The X-wing when built up is quite heavy,.....all the layers going on under the skin,....they aren't hollow like the FM kits

This one shouldn't be too bad. It is somewhat hollow. The lasers already have holes for the effects parts so you won't have trouble drilling them out. The back half is hollow.

As for the interior, that will be a challenge no matter who you are. Not much room, and those red panels are just a pain to deal with. But I suspect you can stick LED's in the wing pylons like I did for the 1/48th
