Built straight OOB.
This may raise a few eyebrows, but no glue or paint was harmed in the construction of this model. ( yep, no glue or paint ).
Also, not liking the shiny new finish they favour on the box art, I washed with Tamiya black panel line accent and wiped off the excess with spirits and cotton buds ( Q tips in the U.S. I think ? ).

It still needs some more shading around the engines and articulation points, and some highlighting here and there..

Very good work! I have one of these and I hope I can do as good.

The Gundam kits don't really need paint if they are done right. You have to do something to take away the "toy" look.

And yours does not look like a toy. Well done!

Looks fantastic ! Like Grendel says , you don't really "need" paint to get good results from Gundam models , as that's how they're designed . Gundam modellers are like a "sub-species" of our breed , with ways and habits unlike our ! ;)

Its my first (modern) Gundam kit build.. I'm in love with the engineer of them now I think.. There'll be more

Great looking kit there. I just finished a MG Wing Gundam with Gundam markers but will definitely give the tamiya accent a try in future.
Did you do anything like clearcoat the kit before the wash? And did you do as you went, or once it was all snapped together.

Yeah, stickered and transferred it up then applied a clear coat (Tamiya semi gloss) over the top, then used the accent. It was done after all the building was finished.
