Name of Build: Mercedes Benz CLK DTM 2000-Team Warsteiner
Kit manufacturer: Tamiya
Scale: 1/24
Description
The second kit in the Tamiya Mercedes CLK DTM series. Tamiya Lacquer Spray Paints (Decanted for airbrush) and Humbrol Enamels used in the build. Paint was polished with Meguiar's Scratch X and Turtle Wax Liquid Polish (the green stuff).
Carbon Fiber decals added in the engine compartment along with a Black Sharpie marker to give a slightly brownish/black sheen to break up the Tamiya Semi Gloss Black. Due to the simple paint scheme, (and good weather to paint outside), the build took only 8 Days to complete.
