Name of Build: A new one
Kit manufacturer: Trumpeter, Dragon, Bronco, MiniArt, et al
Scale: 1/35
Description
The Beauty And the Beast. The beautiful Flak 41 from Bronco on the marvellous Sonderanhänger by Dragon. All pulled by the troublesome and trying Trumpeter Sd.Kfz. 7, which was spiced up with Friul tracks, Eduard PE and MR tyres, plus stowage from Lion Roar, Tamiya and Verlinden. The crew comes form MiniArt. I started with this gun about a week before the BSC started and finished the Dio pretty much 24 hours before the final deadline. The Sd.Kfz. is painted in Vallejo paints while I used Life Colour on the gun and trailer. Weathering is done mostly in AK Interactive products. The figures are painted with 502 oils.
"A new one" shows a replacement soldier and a new gun with a more experienced crew and their well tried tractor.
