Hi guys,

This is my first car ever.
I like dirty vehicles so I thought this was a good start.
A rally car dirtied up a bit.

The inspiration came from the fantastic article in one of the sma magazines.
I will definitely build some more.
Please tell me what you guys think!

Thanks! It's 1/32 I believe.
A good kit but the clear parts (Windows) did not have a good fit at all, but it worked out in the end.

Wow! That looks mighty impressive to me. Excellent work for your first car ever. Kudos!

Yup, 32nd which makes your effort more impressive and after building the same kit earlier in the year I can say that is a 10/10 effort.
Fantastic job on the dust, rivet counters be damned.

I like that it's got wings... ;D
Wicked job on the rally car.

That's great! Realistic dirt for sure. Is that airbrushed or pastel? Either way its very cool!

Hi jake,
The dirt is a product called flory models wash.
It's a clay/water based product, you can brush or airbrush it on and if it's to much or you don't like it, it washes of with water.
It's really easy ( why I like it) and looks very good.
There are some clips on YouTube of mr flory himself demo-ing (is that even a word :) ) check it out.

Thanks for the comment.

Thanks Hoggarth!
We rented one last summer on ower annual family visit to Belgium to Belgium, and that fiesta did not preform like a race car at all.
Quite slow in accelerating especially on the highways.

Fantastic Fiesta my friend! Weathering is on the money!! 5 ***** must check out this flory wash now :)

Thanks for sharing

Thanks mixup!
