Alright, my Hurricane is finished. Here's Academy's 1/72 Hawker Hurricane Mk.IIc, kit #2129. Improvements consist of tape belts and scratch built landing lights. I used clear tape for the lens covers. Camouflage masking was done using Incredible White Mask Liquid Frisket. I'll post how this works in the tips & techniques. All paints are Model Master Enamels with gloss and flat Alclad. Kit decals were used. These are not the good Academy decals :( The bottom is flat black, the top is RAF Ocean Gray and RAF Dark Green. The yellow ID stripes on the wings are Humbrol Yellow. Weather was done with ProModeler's Black. Pastels were used for the exhaust stains. Overall fit of the kit was good.

Markings are for No.87 Squadron RAF 1942.

Now I can get to building some armor ;D

Nice work there wyoroy. Love the camo. One day I'm going to learn a thing or two about this hobby

Great work here, wyoroy. The camo and markings look spot on.
Tough looking metal and fabric beastie you have. Congrats! Bill
