Academy 1/72 black cat pby5A

Hi,
Although my shop is "closed for the summer", my son wanted to help build the black cat.
So what can I say (yeah I use my kids now as a excuse to build more models )

So here it is, as usual strait out the box build, a black cat that has seen a lot of action.
Tell me what you think, and I will relay the message to my young lead hand ;D.

Woooooow! That's a very nice build there. I really do like the weathering 'cause I haven't done any weathering in my previous models before.

I sprayed it aluminium first, the I used the salt chipping technique ( this was the first time I tried it).
It turned out pretty well in most of the spot on the model.

I clear coated the model, then I scratched up the decals before applying them to the model.

After that I used flory models weathering products ( not the powders but the water based clay thing)
There are a few good videos on YouTube about that stuff.

Then I made a little base plate but it still has to go on top of a wood piece.

I don't know - it'll be my first swap-meet meeting also. The Cat is super cool, so, I'd say bring it anyways - there should be extra tables.
