Here is a few Pictures of the Phantom build i did in 2013
Really great kit great fit and superb decals from Cartograf
The only bad part is the intakes interior but that i usually the case with most kits jet intakes
Other than that it`s a sweet kit.

I used mainly Tamiya colors for this one
Vallejo acrylic metal colors was used for the Engines and metal parts of the fuselage .

I pin washed the panel lines with AK interactive wash

First here is a few wip Pictures

Here i used Vallejo air chrome ,steel and gun there is a hint of Tamiya clear blue in there to but you can`t
see it in the pictures its very faint.

Just curious, this academy version has an option of leaving the model unpainted right? cause the plastics are already in color.

Yes that`s right it`s molded in black ,White and green/gray color.

Very, very nicely done. Got the same one in my stash. What Vallejo paints did you use? I wouldn't have guessed that the metalic parts were painted with acrylics.

Thanks JMac !

@yanpol I used Vallejo 71.062 Aluminium ,71.072 Gun, 71.064 Chrome ,71.065 Steel and i mixed in 71.073 Blackmetal to darken a few of the panels and a very diluted Tamiya clear blue on a few spots for the blue heated steel effect it does`t show in the pictures however .
And last i sprayed with Tamiya smoke x-19 with a lot of thinner about 70/30 ratio.
