Kit Review Part 1.
You can skip this part Carsenault as I'm sure this is all old news to you.
This kit has a ton of plastic, and it's all very large. That's good for details, but bad for when you move down a scale and go blind trying to find the wings.
Every piece has been given good respect with individualized packaging to include the one piece nose cone.
The clear parts are fantastic and VERY clear.
There are both Rubber (or vinyl or whatever they are) tires, and plastic. YOUR CHOICE.
Screwdriver and screws. Pretty standard with most 1/32 scale kits these days.
Landing gear metal supports. The plastic fits around these when building up the gears.
Some bad shots of the very quality decals. I'm still not sure if I'm using these or not. Still on the lookout for a Marine version to build of this. Haven't had much luck finding any decal sets for the C model so if anyone has information on them..., I'd love to know.
Figures all look nice. A rarity in aircraft kits it seems.
Fuselage top half.
Bottom half detail shot. Some pretty nice molded in work there I thought.
More shots of big pieces of plastic. Rivets, lines..., everything is nice on this kit
And finally, some pods on one of the small sprues. I assume this was added in for the C variant as this plastic is completely different than the rest of the kit. Much like the figures too.
So as you can see I've got my work cut out for this fall/winter. Just wait till you see all the sprues of plastic in the box.
I'm having some trouble acquiring my BigEd set through my LHS (I like to buy through them as much as possible), so that is delaying the build a little. While I'm waiting on that I'm going to add part two or the review here in a couple of days and then get some work done on my Stryker over in the War Wheels Group Build.
Thanks for following and all the best.
