Hi guys its ages since ive posted as work and new family have been taking up a lot of time, still building but havent been able to spend the time doing build threads, so i hope its ok to put up a few pics of the sub collection i have build up. Really got a huge buzz from researching and building a few U boats. Thanks for looking ;D
This is the first one that gave me the desire to do more, 1-144 scale Revell Type VII C U 96. I didnt rig this one, but the next ones i did.
This was the next one i tried, a Type II B, a bit better on this one, i was starting to get into the swing of it and my reference material was growing. I could have done a better jjob of the conning tower interior, its way too clean and bare of weathering, but i soldiered on and improved with the next one.
Next is this Type XXVII B, its a small midget sub named the Seehund or Seal, its from Revell again and in 1-72 scale
This a Type XXI, originally the U2540 she was scuttled at the end of the was but was salvaged and used as a training vessel and renamed the Wilhelm Bauer. This is in 1-144 scale and from Revell also.
And lastly, again in 1-144 there is this Type VII C-41 from Revell.
And lastly a quick shot of them all together
I hope it alright to post them in one job lot like this, and thanks to all who take time to view and comment.
