25 inch Y-wing scratch build

Been a while since I made any progress on this newer model. I drew up my own plans and its only a loose representation of a Y-wing (slightly short of studio scale..I think). So far its all wood and styrene ("For sale" signs from Walmart), I added my brew in one of the pics for a scale ref. Hope this one turns out! ;D

Another awesome scratch build! This looks like an excellent start. It will be fun to watch the details build out. :)

More work on the cockpit head. Added details and more chips. Then some primer.

Does it need more guts behind the seat?

Looks good to me.
Most of what's behind the seat will get covered by the canopy, so I'd say it looks fine
 
Looks really nice so far. Not sure you need to but if you add anything more I would stick to very small wires for connection type details.
 
Here are some things Ive been up to on my Y-Wing
Added some more skin, details and epoxied the head to the fuselage.

Small progress steps but getting there. :)
