I don't know if you need to watch out for little old me....

But it is a contest.   All contest have winners and losers.  It is up to you to decide which one you want to be.

And this is how I look at it:

Two years ago, I made my first entry in to the contest, it was my second model to build up after a 15 year break in model building.   It did far better than I expected it to. 

I took a look at those that were better than me and decided that I wanted to build like they do.   So I started working on techniques.   My goal is to beat those who usually win.   It is what drives me forward.  

I don't need the prizes that this contest offers, I just want to be able to say I won. 

Those that follow my builds will know that I do not pick the easiest kits to build, this is how you gain experience.   So when I do get that easy kit, look out!  It will be done is record time. 

So sit back enjoy your build and stop worrying about if you are good or not.   Too much worry will show in the build.   Stress will bring mistakes.   Sit back , relax and do the best you can.  

There are so many prizes in this contest that there is a chance that you can win one.  I know that the prizes I am offering up will not go to first, second or third place.
