Chassis has recieved it`s base colour..............

And some holes drilled in the chassis for decorative purposes......

The grill has recieved a coating of Titanium Gold as has the wheels......

The underneath has had the pipes and differential added, both these were coated with a mix of Titanium Silver and Gold.......

Next up came the roof chopperizin`...............

5mm has been removed from the A,B and C posts and filler applied to tidy up some of the gaps from the razor saw...

And after some cleaning up and some adjustment on the two front pillars...........we arrive at this..

If you check out the last pic and the lower one you should see the difference the chop has made..

Thanks Quralane and Chris, might need to run over the joins with some `Tip-ex`just to fill any tiny imperfections that the filler may have left but i`ll stick some primer on it first just to see, glad ya`s like the colour choice matey................it`s only taken 3 attempts before i was satisfied with it myself!! ;D

Hiya Ace, nearly opted for the 427 buddy but went with the kits custom dual carbed V8, you get two engines in this kit, the other is a 5.0 litre Mustang lump................decided to keep the 427`s and the chevy lumps for another project, also got a couple of Pontiacs as well............and the spare Mustang out of this one of course!! ;D

The decorative holes in the frame. What a great touch. Still amazed at the detail that goes into these kits.

Its coming along at a great pace and looking great.

Thanks for all the great comments Rob, Scott, Grendals, `T`and Haggistom.........yeah it`s suprising what 5mm can do, still may have a few more decorative holes to add yet tho Haggistom...............and on the plus side my distributor arrived today so`s i can crack on with the engine............happy days!!!

Evening fellas............just thought i would bring this up to speed,

Had a choice of two rear boot lids on this, one louvered and one smooth, couldn`t make up my mind which but with a few casting votes here and there..............i opted for the louvered one..

Here is the smooth one anyway...........

You`ll notice ive added some decorative holes on the back apron too match the ones on the front of the chassis legs...

A brief pass with some primer has been done as i needed to check how well the filling of the roof joints came out, as you can see in a couple of the pics it has had another rub down just to give the joins a bit more prep work..

The rear wheel arches have now been cleaned and fitted, as has the firewall and the louvered boot but not got any pics of that yet..............
