So, last week while I was waiting for some paint on the C-54 to dry, I started fiddling with the F-16C in this kit. I was pleasantly surprised to find the dry fit was very good on the fuselage. A few minutes later I was painting the cock pit and there you go! LOL It only took me 5 not overly long sessions to build this one. Many of the planes I saw in reference pics were very dirty planes, so I dirtied this girl up.

Considering the kit is 27 years old, it went together very easily and it was a very nice distraction. Hope you all like. Now back to the 54...

Fantastic! ;D I love the dirty weathering you did there. If only I may add, I think it would help if the canopy is just a little bit tinted. Be that as it may, you did a great job!

Thank you sir! I am not a big fan of heavy weathering UNLESS it is called for. I have seen F-15Es, F-106s and other planes that rarely if ever get overly dirty weathered to within an inch of their life. Dont like that. But if it is called for, then lets do it! LOL

And thank you for the tip! I have no bloody clue how to do that though. Guess I should Google it eh?
