I'd like to share some pics of this really great kit. I just finished it up. I incorporated the eduard PE set, which includes the golden record and a long magnetometer arm (that I bent accidentally a couple of times).

I've always loved this spacecraft and I have something special in mind for the base. I'd like to build (or find someone who can build for me) a base for this that is essentially a rolling digital odometer that tells you exactly how far away voyager is from the Sun. I've been searching for someone who can help with this but have yet to find them. It's an ongoing search.

Here are the pics. Thanks for looking.

Great work. The PE is a nice touch, I didn't get that when I built this a while back.

Im not a big fan of the base, I ended up replacing it with a wooden one.

Yeah the base leaves a lot to be desired. Like I said in my original post, I'd like to do something special for the model and build a unique base. In the meantime I think ill follow your lead and put it on a wooden base.

Yep. I'm trying to find someone on one of the electronics forums to build the base for me. I would pay them to build it. Just haven't gotten any takers yet.
