I'm on a roll here, this has been a speed build right after the A-10. Almost done in 2 weeks. I initially wanted to try salt weathering but chickened out after seeing some examples of failed attempts posted around. Filled some of the panel line with 0.3mm pencil. Will see how it goes with adding a layer of rust and oil leak on top this week (currently done on the belly). Exhaust colors suppose to be silver then burnt iron will fix that one later.

Finished! Others have pointed out the inside nozzle is too clean as it's partially attributed to the camera flash that made it blurry in the picture. On to my next project :D

Very nice F/A-18. I like the scheme, much better than the Navy plain vanilla grey...

Which kit?

I score almost all my kits off ebay ;D. The one I used is now out of circulation, which Hasegawa has re-released few years back as this one:

The decal is aftermarket from Squadron Products, which is much nicer.

Also used aftermarket metal landing gear as well as using up what was left of the Hasegawa special weapon set
