Mate this is truly exceptional, let me give you a massive pat on the back. My blockade runner has just been slung towards oncoming traffic.

No way dude!! Your Runner has given me one of the only competitive streaks I've ever had! Every build should be as awesome as your Runner! That being said, I am entering this build in the Sci-Fi category. ;D

Nice list you got there Nick, be carefull on the weathering at that scale would you even see it? Pre shade would be enough wouldn't it? I gotta tell you mate I'm itchin to see your final pics.

Weathering might be a light wash here and there...perhaps a couple of small battle scoring marks. Nothing too fancy. Even preshading will be minimal, just around the raised areas and thankfully not on each panel line. ;)

 That's alot of work for your final week, but judging by how you've gotten this far so quickly, I think you'll make it.

Good luck mate!

As planned, I was able to knock out the Monday list and a few other items along the way.

Awesome update Nick, those firbre optics coming out from the bottom dome look kinda cool as they are without trimming, like aerials or something.

Exactly. Those don't actually light up and aren't going to be trimmed. :D There are a few fibers at about the 30º latitude of the dome that will actually blink red, but that's all as far as lighting up that dome.

Quick question...do you guys think I should add one of my 1/4105 Olympic Carriers? Would it be too out of place if it were docked on the starboard pods?

You mean would it look out of place being cross-universe? Or out of place being too much going on?

I'd say don't worry about being cross-universe, and the more going on the better. :)

Nick, this thing is packed with so much detail that you'll see something new every time you look at her.
Amazing work

Here's my next update...didn’t get through as much of Tuesday’s list as I had hoped. Some family just got back to town from a 6 week trip to Uganda…so spending time with them was priority for sure. But here’s what I DID get done.

1. Added Olympic Carrier to pods. It’s removable with a magnet!

2. Cut some holes for the billboards. I figured it would be easier to do this then mount the billboards as one of the post-painting steps. Also added a chip LED to the starboard pod for a couple of billboards.

3. Wired up all the resistors to all the LEDs and got the top hull finished. I still have to add a plug so it will be easier to join the hulls.

4. Got the engine lights all wired up. Beautiful baby blues.

Tonight I’ll have to finish up connecting the lead wires to each of the LEDs. I just realized I forgot to light up that little auxiliary hangar so I’ll have to add another LED or 2. No biggie. But I’d also like to get the boards wired up so I can join the hulls either tonight or tomorrow. That will be the big accomplishment.

Big day for Mr. Jones.

1. Finished soldering resistors and leads.

2. Connected all LEDs to the board and wired up the plug.

This wil be viewd over and over as I prepare to make a pair of 'em in the future. Your work is incredibly inspiring! I look at the raw pieces and your results and I'm just astounded! Best of luck!
