Are you planning on using the Measure 32, Design 22D scheme from 1944?

If so, Scale Colors makes really great paints for the 5-0 Ocean Grey, 5-L Light Grey and the 20-B Deck Blue for the deck

Probably won't start until the end of January. I have a deal with my buddy in Japan who specializes in armor, I like aircraft. The deal is he builds a WWII four engine bomber, I build a Sherman. We will see if he gets the bomber, I have the Sherman.

She was apparently no longer in dazzle camo at that point in 1945 and was the standard grey

I saw the sister ship Jersey firing at that island off the coast of San Diego that they used for target practice back in the 80’s. Definitely all haze grey.
I wish they would leave them commissioned just for the intimidation factor - I suppose that isn’t practical. But its something you never forget.
