I just acquired some Taimya 1:35th scale US Army/USMC Iraq soldiers to go with my 1:35th scale TACP Stryker (AFV Club version)...

Has anyone found a way to paint ACU/digital camo? Or is there a decal? Or do you merely just do the basic color blotches?

Any tricks, tips, advice, or other recommendations would be welcome.

Nn 1/35 scale, just get a very fine brush and thinned paint, and just take your time, and use a magnifying glass.Make sure the brush is sable and good quality too, then it will keep a nice point, good luck.

There is a company out of Japan that has the digital camo in decal format.

Scroll to the bottom and they have some photos of them putting it on a couple of figures.

I don't know if I would rather wrestle with trying to put a decal on a figure, or just paint it. I think personally I would just paint it, if I didn't like it, I can always strip it and start over. Better buy stocks in Micro Sol! LOL

Those decals look interesting... Might save some sanity compared to trying to pint the digital patterns by hand (this coming from a guy who has done stippling with a .03 technical pen on art that has exceeded 17" on illustration board, maybe I am crazy enough to paint it by hand...).
