Hey all! So while I wait to get the flat clear to seal Dougram, and patiently wait for the light kit to drop, here is my new project:

I got it from Evilbay. I THOUGHT it was the Spawn version of Angela, but its the Marvel version.:(

Oh, well. So anyhoo, got her main body and legs glued and attached to base, and the left arm assembled.

Gonna start painting her today before work.

So last night after work, despite my Planar Fascietus KILLING my feet(work related crap) I got some main base colors blocked. The flesh tones are gonna need some serious building up, just like on that figure I painted as my GF. :(

So she is starting to look like something now. Since I dislike that she was rejiggered as a Marvel character I am treating this as if she is still a Spawn character. The model even has a Spawn head so... but I need to figure out how the heck to paint the Spawn style eye makeup.

Thanks!

So doin some more painting... and got the eye makeup. Not perfect but way better than I thought it'd turn out. Impressed the GF actually.:D

And since the original file for this 3d printed model shows a spear, decided to make one. Not finished of course.

Plan to try to get some more progress tomorrow evening, but Sunday I wanna finish the Enterprise bridge.

I still have her short sword to paint and me and Zoe are trying to figure out if its at all possible to paint the pattern on her streamers. The base is a purpleish blue, with red squares and circles. At this scale I just cannot justify trying to attempt it, but she is thinking we may be able to make something in the computer and print it. Dunno if I wanna invest that time and effort when I am close to completion on her, and again, would you even see the pattern?

Looking very good so far.
Figure painting can be both fun and aggravating.
Thanks!

Yes it can, especially at such a tiny scale. My GF has been teaching me some of her techniques, and I think it is showing on Angela.

Just wish I could have done better with the Enterprise bridge. Not terribly happy with that.

Getting close. Got the other arm glued, as well as her shoulder pad and short sword on her back. Painting the large sword, other short sword and dagger.

The ribbons are sticker material I cut to close to correct width. My girl agreed its probably the best thing to do on my timetable for this project.
