Allrighty then, took some glamour shots today, this truck is 95% done, just a few minor details to chase up!
Mainly I want to add snow but I'm working out the methods for making it stick. So far trying hairspray and then sprinkling it on, followed with some dullcote to kinda glue it on. Maybe will try some very dilute while glue as another method.
Toying with the idea of adding in a radio antenna. Also need to make the windshield wiper mask and do the windshield nice, but for some reason this is proving a major obstacle. I've tried sketching it out, but not fully happy with how it would look.
Other than that, I'm pretty proud of this model.
Was going to make some sandbags, but not sure what the best way to do it is. Maybe actually with real cloth
Here's the hairspray applied snow on one of the wheels. I've done one, so I'm committed to do the rest now!
Plow turned out pretty sweet I think, the snow really adds some authenticity.
The engine is...bare admittedly. I'm not a car guy and don't know how to improve on it really. Any pointers?
Bought the chain to hold the plow up from walmart in their craft jewelry section, not bad!
Had to scratchbuild most of the interior details...it was very plain out of box
