Awesome work! I'm really diggin' this build. My wife is a big Mass Effect fan. Now she's wearing out some Bioshock Infinite. I support her gaming and she supports my scale modeling. Two nerds coming together I guess. Lol!

Allrighty then, took some glamour shots today, this truck is 95% done, just a few minor details to chase up!

Mainly I want to add snow but I'm working out the methods for making it stick. So far trying hairspray and then sprinkling it on, followed with some dullcote to kinda glue it on. Maybe will try some very dilute while glue as another method.

Toying with the idea of adding in a radio antenna. Also need to make the windshield wiper mask and do the windshield nice, but for some reason this is proving a major obstacle. I've tried sketching it out, but not fully happy with how it would look.

Other than that, I'm pretty proud of this model.

Was going to make some sandbags, but not sure what the best way to do it is. Maybe actually with real cloth

Here's the hairspray applied snow on one of the wheels. I've done one, so I'm committed to do the rest now! ;)

Plow turned out pretty sweet I think, the snow really adds some authenticity.

The engine is...bare admittedly. I'm not a car guy and don't know how to improve on it really. Any pointers?

Bought the chain to hold the plow up from walmart in their craft jewelry section, not bad!

Had to scratchbuild most of the interior details...it was very plain out of box

Looks good, and that engine looks to be missing an air cleaner, but other than that, the engines back in the 70's didn't have much detail. Most of the junk under the hood came about in the 80's due to pollution control legislation.

Don't know if your kit had the air cleaner...

But I have a couple I can send you.

Dude, this is looking fantastic.
Thanks man, it's all finished up now. Just need to take some final pics and maybe decide if I can add in a radio antenna too. Someone gave me a tip that a sewing pin makes a decent antenna, so going to look into that a little later.
