Thanks for the tip. I just ordered them and have been looking for something for those windows forever. I actually started mapping out plans to create my own photo etch for them. Now I can start working on it and worry about some kind of engine insert later.

Those truss windows look great on the command towers. What did you use for those?

Electronics, airbrushing....really keeping the darn thing clean and not so much the painting. (dry tip and such at low PSI) figures.

Ozzman78 your building these right? Which kits are you using? AMT, Revell Snaps, Revell 1/35, FM 72/48? Salzo V3?

Weathering may be heavy but it looks damn cool. You know if you clear coat the model you can always go in and knock down the darkness with a misting of your basecoat color, thinned down of course. That would tone down the black and make the rest of the build pop. Would be hell on the red...

Great start there Jake. Nice touch adding the round exhaust tubes....who knows what they're really for.....on to the fuselage beneath the cockpit. Yes it's an old kit with a lot of missing detail and inaccuracies but just rip in to it. And that's as great a cockpit as I've ever seen on this kit...

That looks great. Super job on the lighting of that small kit. Excellent paint work too. I gather the painting masks don't come with the kit? Who puts those masks out?

Awesome, awesome job on that finish. That was time consuming for sure. What did you use, washes, pigments, rust effects? All of the above?
