    Panzer 38T....Rebased.

I am sure it will mate. Just keep it small and try a circular or kidney shaped base around your vehicle to avoid dead ground. That base around the 38t only just fits the tank lengthwise and at the most it would be just shy of two inches on either side. Not big and thus easy to fill. Phil

    Panzer 38T....Rebased.

Thanks guys for the comments. The grass is cut off clumbs of a cheap nylon broom. It was an old broom just sitting in my shed so no harm done and the wife none the wiser. Yes it was tedious and time consuming. What I did was push holes in the foam base with a pencil, filled the holes with...

    Panzer 38T....Rebased.

I did this Tamiya Panzer 38T about 12 months ago. It was actually my first project when I decided to start making model tanks again. Overall, I was happy with how the actual model turned out, but over time I started to view the base I made for it as not very good. So, I decided to remake the...

    Tiger I Russia summer 44 + crew

Overall Pantherman, a very good job. My only criticism is based on the fact, I prefer compact dio's with little to no empty space, so please understand that point. That said, I feel you could have put everything that you have displayed in this diorama on a base half the size. This would have...

    German Sturmgeschutz IV

Just out of curiosity, where did you see that the fire extinguisher should be painted red? I have seen this done on more than one German AFV model, but when I did my research on it apparently this is not correct as most extinguishers were painted the same colour as the vehicle. Not trying to...

    Tamiya's Early Tiger 1......1/35 scale.

I agree Gaz with Tigers in the Mud. I have just finished reading it for the second time hence my tiger project. I did think about PE screens but thought nah, why spend more money. The image I had in my head of what I wanted to achieve didn't really warrant spending more money. I also thought...

    Tamiya's Early Tiger 1......1/35 scale.

Hi guys, Here is my latest offering from Tamiya which I have just finished. I really liked this kit and it was a pleasure to do. I built it straight from the box with no after market items and just used the stock figure as supplied. My intentions were to portray one of the first Tiger's sent...
