I am working on a 1/48 P-51D. I would like to know of any advice on adding gun trails down the wing. I also want to try using some wash. I saw the effect on the Tamiya wash and I liked the level of detail. Any tips are welcome.

Red Tail P-51D (1/48 Tamiya), F-16C (1/72 Hasagawa), thinking of making it a Wild Weasel, and a 1/48 A-10A (Tamiya). I just finished my degree and have rewarded myself by getting back to scale models. This Red Tail is the first model in many years that made it past my rigorous QA review:oops:

I like the chipping on the prop edges. I am working on a P-51, I think I will see if I can do such chipping justice. The Jug is one of my WWII favorites. The ME262, P-51, and P-47, maybe the P-38. Workhorses all of them.

I am looking forward to exchanging ideas and tips with like-minded "addicts".
