    Revell (Matchbox) M40 GMC 1:76

My latest work for a Korean War Groupbuild. I kinda like these little 1:76 Matchbox tanks with bases which are reboxed by Revell, nothing special and old, but a pleasure to build. This one took me less than 6 days. It's primed with AK Interactive Acrylic Primer Black, painted with Revell Aqua...

    Odorless Thinners?

Normal odorless White Spirit works well. Another tip, for thinning acrylic lacquers (i.e. Tamiya X and XF or AK Real Colors), just get methylated spirits. Works fine and is cheap.

    Thinner Question

I discovered yesterday that Tamiya and AK Real Colors (i.e. both acrylic lacquers) thin perfectly fine with methylated spirits. Cheap (2€ for 1 litre) and easy to get. Enclosed a picture of a Bradley painted with Tamiya XF-59 thinned ≈1:1 with methylated spirits.

    Revell SpPz 2 Luchs A1 1:35

It is a nice kit, the overall fit is pretty good, just some single issues with the suspension. The only big issue is attaching the MG3 to the carriage, I had to cut pretty much to make it fit properly. Feel free to contact me if you get the kit and have those issues too, I can give you closer...

    Revell SpPz 2 Luchs A1 1:35

That's my latest work, there are some mistakes (especially the rear headlight where I lost the clear part), but I'm happy with it.

    Thinner Question

I am personally not working with Testors, but I guess you should just try it out with the cheap thinner, if it doesn't work, get the one supposed for the colors. Thinning acrylics with water doesn't work well mostly, I'd advise you to get acrylic thinnner or normal isopropyl alcohol for that...
