    Not addicted any more.

If your hands have gotten to a certain point, no medication or therapy or hand braces are going to help. Surgery is the best way and from what I've read the full release is better than the orthoscopic. I found the best surgeon and insisted upon him instead of those on the list of the automotive...

    Not addicted any more.

I worked in the automotive industry for 27 years and before that I was a welder. I had carpal tunnel to the point where when driving I used to have to take one hand off the wheel and shake it to get the feeling back into it. I found the best carpal tunnel surgeon and insisted on using him...

    Tamiya m41 walker bulldog

Nice job. I built one last fall. They're a great kit. I was luck that I had a left over 50 cal that I migrated the barrel to the 50 cal that came with the tank. The one with the kit was really out of proportion(small).

    Tamiya M26 Pershing

That's the kit. The 4 corners have springs. The rear drive sprockets are sprung. 2 front wheels on each side are connected by arms and articulate together and are sprung. The rest of the wheels are loose. There are 2 figures included. The paint is Vallejo Army Air Pacific War paint kit. 2 parts...

    Tamiya M26 Pershing

Had so much rainy weather lately that I broke out a kit that was for the fall. A M26 Pershing. Needs it's flat clear and a little touch up but it's pretty much done. It's a another great model from Tamiya.

HASEGAWA 1/32 MITSUBISHI A6M5C ZERO FIGHTER

Finished the canopy this morning. Couldn't find a mask kit in stock so I wound up doing it with some Tamiya 6 mm masking tape that I ordered. It's really good stuff easy to work with

HASEGAWA 1/32 MITSUBISHI A6M5C ZERO FIGHTER

Here's the F6F and Zero side by side. Both are 1/32nd scale. Huge size difference. The F6F looks like the hammer the zero looks like it'd get nailed

    Putty Test

There is also a Tamiya white water based putty that doesn't cure rapidly. Very good for giving a tank turret the cast look

HASEGAWA 1/32 MITSUBISHI A6M5C ZERO FIGHTER

Here's the latest build. I have say this kit from 2016 has outstanding panel fit and was a fun build. The decals were good but the big red meatballs were pretty thick as decals go. The main thing left to do is the canopy frame's and there's lot of them. Can't find a masking in stock kit but I've...

    Hasegawa 1/32 scale F6F

Here's my F6F. Still needs some finishing touches and waiting on the rubber tires. The front windscreen fitment will need some adjustment so it's not fixed in place yet. Also I'm looking at making a better gunsight.

A little bit of a rant

I was too. Once the American shipper got the items in the mail it was 2 days to my door for all 3 pieces

    3 new 1/32 planes.

Started the Hasegawa F6F first. It will be followed a Hasagawa's latest version of the Zero then Trumpeters 262. This is a slow modeling time for me. Be spending a lot more time outside. It'll be a slow roll on the F6F. May finish it before summer. They all look like very nice kits

A couple of 1/35 tank builds

Thanks. Thought about the photo etched dress up kit but passed. Think I'll use those on larger scale builds.
