its somtimes easier to just coat the canopy in futer or humbrol clearfix, spray and then take the paint off with a toothpic and then just use future again. this also means that you can easily leave the colour on the window edges and frame easier than masking.

has anyone used oil washes are they any good. the only problem was that the oil paints are stupidly expencive and im not sure if its worth spending the money.

yo i need some advice on pin washes for tanks i cant find the right mix, ive been using tamiya black watered down but the coulours either doent show up clearly or forms big puddles. are oil paints any better?, what varnish should i use ? what thinner should i use? any advice would be helpful

i found tamiya primers the best i normally buy mine from modelsforsale.com for people in the UK, halfords primeres are good but i dont think there as fine as tamiyas

im sure that paint drys when it reacts with oxygen in the air so the paint going gloopy is a sign that the paint is beginning to dry out. if you have an air tight room that would be good but i found that adding thiner to half empty paint tubs works great

yo im having a similar problem when airbrushing with acrylic the paint comes out grainy on smooth surfaces, i do use water to thin my paint, should i use a proper acrylic thinner?
